Privacy Policy

The short version

ai-jev.net is a text-analysis tool: the free playground works without an account, and an optional one-time Starter Pack adds more credits (see Pricing). We set one anonymous cookie to track your free credits. The text you submit is sent to the TypeSafe API to be analyzed and is not stored by us after the response returns. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — only after you accept, and it never sees the text you analyze — and we include Google AdSense advertising on our pages (see the Advertising section).

What we collect

• Anonymous visitor cookie. A random id in an httpOnly cookie, cryptographically signed by our server. It exists solely to remember your free credit balance between visits.
• IP address. Used transiently for rate limiting and to make farming free credits harder. It is not linked to your analyses.
• Credit records. For each anonymous id we store the credit balance, grant/hold/confirm/refund bookkeeping (amounts, timestamps, request ids, which scenario was used). These records contain no message content.
• Standard hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps routine technical logs (URLs, status codes, timestamps) as part of running the service.
• Google Analytics. See the section below.

Google Analytics & your choice

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to measure aggregate usage — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and basic device/browser categories. Analytics is off until you allow it — off means off: the Google Analytics code is not loaded at all until you accept, so a declining visitor generates no Google Analytics requests, no analytics cookies, and no analytics tracking of any kind. (Advertising is a separate system with its own cookies — see the Advertising section.) On your first visit a small banner asks whether you accept the analytics cookie. If you accept, Google may set its own cookies (such as _ga) and process data such as your IP address (anonymized by Google), the pages you view, and referrer information, under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can change or undo your choice anytime right below, or block analytics with browser settings or Google’s official Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Analytics tracks page visits only; it receives none of the text you analyze and none of your credit information. Declining changes nothing about how the site works — every feature stays available.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We include Google AdSense advertising on our pages. The AdSense code is present on every page independently of the analytics choice above; Google and its partners may set advertising cookies (such as __gads) and process data — including your IP address, the pages you view, and device information — to serve, measure and, where you have allowed it, personalize ads, under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can review and limit how Google uses this data in My Ad Center and block ad cookies with browser settings. The advertising code sees page visits only — it never receives the text you analyze, your credit information, or your account details.

The text you submit

When you press Analyze, your text is sent over HTTPS to our server and forwarded to the official TypeSafe API (api.typesafe.ai), where the Jev model evaluates it. We return the structured results to you and do not store the text; it is not written to our logs, our error tracking, or Google Analytics — page-visit measurement never receives the text you analyze.

Processing at TypeSafe is governed by their policies. At the time of writing, TypeSafe’s public documentation states that models are not trained on customer requests or responses, and that zero data retention is available as an enterprise option. We do not control TypeSafe’s internal systems, so we encourage you to review their privacy and legal pages before submitting sensitive text. Don’t paste secrets, credentials or personal data you wouldn’t share with a cloud AI service.

Free credits & limits

Each anonymous visitor receives a one-time grant of free credits (no daily refresh). Every successful analysis consumes credits; failed or rejected requests do not. All visitors share a site-wide daily and monthly API budget — when it is exhausted, real analyses pause until it resets. These counters are kept on our server; the number shown in your browser is display-only.

Anonymous ids plus IP rate limiting make repeat-farming of free credits harder, but we do not claim they make it impossible.

Cookies

Our own cookies are two: jev_vid(httpOnly, SameSite=Lax, one year, the anonymous visitor id described above) and, when you sign in, a session cookie from our sign-in library. We set no advertising cookies of our own and do no fingerprinting. Third parties may set their own: Google AdSense may set advertising cookies (such as __gads) — see the Advertising section; Google Analytics may set its own cookies (such as _ga) after you accept — see the Google Analytics section above and Google’s opt-out add-on if you prefer to block it.

Accounts and payments

Sign-in is Google-only. We store your Google account id (a stable identifier, not your email), the email and display name on your Google profile, your credit balances and their full ledger (purchases, analyses, refunds, freezes), and your orders. Your remaining anonymous free credits are moved into your account once, at your first sign-in on that browser — afterwards the anonymous copy is zeroed.

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake as merchant of record; we never see or store card details. We keep the order id, product snapshot, amount, currency, tax and the provider’s order/payment identifiers for accounting, support and refunds. We do not store your analyzed text — payment metadata and logs never contain it.

To delete your account data, contact us (below); we will remove the profile, balances and non-mandatory order records. Financial records may be retained where required by law.

Your choices

Clearing your cookies (or using a private window) resets your anonymous identity and forfeits the credits attached to it. You can avoid the service entirely if you do not want text processed by a third-party AI API.

Children & legal

The service is not directed at children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We are an independent tool, not affiliated with TypeSafe; see our Terms of Service.
