Privacy Policy

The short version

ai-jev.net is a free tool with no accounts. We set one anonymous cookie to track your free credits. The text you submit is sent to the TypeSafe API to be analyzed and is not stored by us after the response returns. We never ask for your email, we run no third-party analytics or ads, and we do not sell anything.

What we collect

• Anonymous visitor cookie. A random id in an httpOnly cookie, cryptographically signed by our server. It exists solely to remember your free credit balance between visits.
• IP address. Used transiently for rate limiting and to make farming free credits harder. It is not linked to your analyses.
• Credit records. For each anonymous id we store the credit balance, grant/hold/confirm/refund bookkeeping (amounts, timestamps, request ids, which scenario was used). These records contain no message content.
• Standard hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps routine technical logs (URLs, status codes, timestamps) as part of running the service.

The text you submit

When you press Analyze, your text is sent over HTTPS to our server and forwarded to the official TypeSafe API (api.typesafe.ai), where the Jev model evaluates it. We return the structured results to you and do not store the text; it is not written to our logs or error tracking, and we collect no analytics on page content.

Processing at TypeSafe is governed by their policies. At the time of writing, TypeSafe’s public documentation states that models are not trained on customer requests or responses, and that zero data retention is available as an enterprise option. We do not control TypeSafe’s internal systems, so we encourage you to review their privacy and legal pages before submitting sensitive text. Don’t paste secrets, credentials or personal data you wouldn’t share with a cloud AI service.

Free credits & limits

Each anonymous visitor receives a one-time grant of free credits (no daily refresh). Every successful analysis consumes credits; failed or rejected requests do not. All visitors share a site-wide daily and monthly API budget — when it is exhausted, real analyses pause until it resets. These counters are kept on our server; the number shown in your browser is display-only.

Anonymous ids plus IP rate limiting make repeat-farming of free credits harder, but we do not claim they make it impossible.

Cookies

Exactly one cookie (jev_vid): httpOnly, SameSite=Lax, set for one year, holding the anonymous visitor id described above. No advertising or tracking cookies, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting.

Your choices

Clearing your cookies (or using a private window) resets your anonymous identity and forfeits the credits attached to it. You can avoid the service entirely if you do not want text processed by a third-party AI API.

Children & legal

The service is not directed at children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We are an independent tool, not affiliated with TypeSafe; see our Terms of Service.
